Hello Everyone!

Seeming as it's almost time for Summer, schools are breaking out and the weathers getting warmer I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to do the I Heart Summer Tag that I sore on Christine's Blog. 

1. Favorite Summer drink?

Hm, any type of mocktail probably.

2. Favorite Summer lip product?

I've recently been using a lot of my Rimmel London 1000 Kisses in the shade 700 'Nothing But Nude' which is a really light peachy colour. I also love using The Body Shop's 100% Natural Roll On Lip balm in Coconut to give it a shine.

3. Pool or Beach?

Beach!

4. What's your must have Summer hair styling product?

I absolutely love L'Oreal Paris Studio Matt & Messy Salt Spray, lightly sprayed into the hair it gives really lose beachy waves, perfect for the Summer!

5. Sun bathing or fake tan?

Sun bathing, more natural and who doesn't like to sun bathe? 

6. Favorite Summer nail polish?

I've recently been wearing the Rimmel London 60 Seconds in the shade 842 'Too cool to tango', its a baby pastel blue which pretty much goes with anything and everything, really summery colors.

7. Any Summer traditions?

Well I used to go to a certain beach in the evenings and have a small BBQ on the beach with my family however, we haven't been for a few years so maybe not a tradition but its a fun thing we like to do now and then.

8. Favorite Summer Scent?  

I've recently been using a spray by Elle, a light fruity scent.

9. Favorite BBQ food?

For food, I'd have to say burgers! But we all know we have to say Smores!

10. Any Summer vocation plans this year?

I am traveling to Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) for a 2 week holiday, first time abroad, definitely excited!

I Heart Spring | Tag

Hello everyone!  Can I just start this post of by saying that I'm sorry for the lack of posts at the moment, I'm currently doing my GCSE's and my free time is slowly slipping away, however I will try to write as many posts as I can.     So as it's officially Spring and all the clocks have changed, I thought what better time do to a Spring tag than now? So lets get into it.
1. What's your favorite Spring nail polish? I've really been liking the pastel colours at the moment, I have a light blue nail polish by Rimmel London that I've been loving lately, so probably that.
2. What is your must-have lip colour this spring? I've lately been using the 1000 Kisses Lip Stain by Rimmel London, which I love. The colour is a lovely subtle pink, definitely my go to lip stain.
3. What is your favorite Spring dress? Where I live it doesn't get very warm in the spring, so I most likely wont be wearing a dress however I have been wearing a grey and black dress that I got from New Look which I wear with tights, but unfortunately Spring for me where I live, is still like Winter.
4. What is your favorite Spring flower? I really love a bunch of daffodils in the spring, they just bring any room to life.
5. Favorite Spring accessory? Lately I've really been into wearing my earrings alot more so I'd have to say earrings because I've been going mad and buying all different ones lately.
6. What Spring trends are you most excited about this year? I've really been loving all the pastel colours out recently, I think they're just beautiful shades. I'd have to say that's something I'm excited about.
7. Favorite Spring candle? Before Christmas I purchased a Mistletoe Bouquet Candle and unfortunately I never burned it over the Christmas period, I recently rediscovered it and surprisingly it doesn't smell much like a festive candle, so I've been burning that recently alot.
8. Favorite body spray for the Spring? I've recently been using Body Shop's Jasmine Body Mist, its a gorgeous sweet smell, definitely trying some more of them out soon.
9. Whats your favorite thing about Spring? Not only because my birthday happens to be in Spring, but the way the weather gets warmer, flowers come out and it all just looks beautiful.
10. Any plans for Spring break? Unfortunately no, however I am preparing for a vacation in the summer.

Valentines Day Questions | Tag

Hello Everyone! Firstly I'd just like to start off with saying Happy Valentines Day to you all and I hope your sharing it with a very special person, whether that's your partner or family, I hope you have a day filled with lots and lots of love. Question 1 - What is your favorite Valentines Day treats? That's a hard one, I love lots. I think hot chocolate with heart shaped sprinkles is always a winner, and lots and lots of chocolate. 
Question 2 - Sweethearts or chocolate covered Strawberry's? Chocolate covered Strawberry's, definitely.
Question 3 - What is your favorite Valentine Day memory? That would be when I used to live with my Mum and Nan in the same house and we'd secretly leave presents scattered around each of our rooms for the morning of Valentines Day and we'd get together and open them, they were always the cutest days. 
Question 4 - What movie would you rather watch on Valentines Day: Pretty Woman or You've Got Mail? I've actually never heard of either and I'm not one to watch soppy romantic films but I'd like to watch You've Got Mail as it seems cute and well I don't know really, more of my cup of tea.
Question 5 - What celebrity wouldn't you mind having for Valentines Day? Demi Lovato, although I'm straight we could still get together and have a movie night together as best friends.
Question 6 - What would be your perfect Valentines date? Just staying at home and watching movies with food and chocolate, perfect.
Question 7 - Red or Pink lips on Valentines Day? If I was feeling confident I'd probably go for red but I think pink is more subtle and compliments my face better.
Question 8 - What is your ideal Valentines Day outfit? Skinny jeans or a skater skirt with cute jumper, probably with a peter pan collar on it, and some comfy boots.
Question 9 - Homemade or Store bought gifts? I think homemade is always such a cute idea and it makes it all that more special, however I think if your treating someone to something shop bought things are always still good.
Question 10 - Would you wear your hair up or down for a date night? I proffer my hair down so probably half up and half down with loose curls.

Blogmas Day 24 | How I spend Christmas?

Hello Lovelies!

Firstly I'd just like to say Merry Christmas Eve to Everyone! So, I saw this tag on the lovely Natalie's blog and thought it was a really nice tag to let you all know what I get up to on Christmas day so I thought I would give it a go. 

1. What are you usually up to on Christmas Eve?

Surprisingly, nothing much at all. I normally just chill around and watch Christmas films. However, this year I think I'm visiting some relatives.

2. Who do you spend your Christmas Day with?

My Mum, Brother and Step Dad, we open our presents in the morning and we all then go to my Nan's for the yummy Christmas dinner so usually I spend that with my Nan, Grandad and my Uncle & Auntie aswell.

3. Do you enjoy giving or receiving gifts?

I've answered this in another tag too but as common as it is to answer with giving, I genially love giving as I've spent a long time getting the perfect present I love to see their face when they open it, but receiving is great fun too!

4. What does your outfit consist of on Christmas Day?

I like to dress up for Christmas but still stay casual and comfortable. This year I'm planing on wearing my black bowed skirt with a tucked in glittery top, I think peter pan collars are so cute so I may even throw that in with the outfit, with some accessories of course. 

5. Do you enjoy shopping for your loved one's gifts?

Yes, I absolutely love it. It's one of the most fun parts of Christmas time, just getting together all the gifts, that and the wrapping. 

6. Have you ever received a gift that you disliked and pretended you liked it?

As far as I know, nothing sticks out. But I'm grateful for every present I get.

7. What would your ideal Christmas be?

For Me Christmas is about spending time with your Family of which I do anyway, to make it perfect it would be to spend it with loved ones that are no longer with us, I think we all wish on that one.

8. What is your least favorite thing about Christmas?

 Money, I think money is enough to put anyone off Christmas for awhile. I'd absolutely love to buy everyone in my Family everything they really want, however there's a thing called money, unfortunately, and the panic of everything having to be right and perfect, specially the wrapping up!

9. What is the best gift you've ever received?

I think all my presents I get are fantastic however this year I'm specially looking forward to getting my camera although I haven't opened it, yet.

10. If you could choose one person to spend Christmas with who would it be and why?

Although she isn't a person, I'd choose my cat Smudge because she was my Best Friend and I miss her so much.

Blogmas Day 20 | Winterlicious Tag

Hello Lovelies! It's so shocking how fast Christmas has come, only a few days to go! I can barely control my excitement now, where has the year gone? I've got all my presents and everything is almost wrapped and most presents are collecting under the tree already, your never too old to be this excited for Christmas! Anyway, I saw this tag and I knew I just had to do it, it's such a lovely tag and if you didn't know already, I love tags. So, here it goes.
1. Favorite Winter Nail Polish(s)? Barry M Christmas Edition with multi colored glitter, I think it's beautiful.
2. Favorite Winter Lip Product(s)? Um, I really like Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple, it's a nice subtle colour and I also really like Colour Boost Lip Cray in Red Sunrise, that's a nice shade too.
3. Most Worn Winter Clothing Piece? I got this brand new coat with fur lined hood, I've worn it out ever since so I'd say that but I've also worn a nice teal jumper with a peter pan collar alot too.
4. Most Worn Winter Accessory?  Either my owl scarf or my panda gloves, both adorable if I must say.
5. Favorite Winter Scent/Candle? That's really hard, I really like Fireside treats by Yankee candles. It's a combination of roasted marshmallows and sweets.
6. Favorite Winter Beverage? Starbucks peppermint hot chocolate!
7. All time favorite Christmas movie? I absolutely love Elf, it's just amazing and hilarious, best film I've seen, it always gets me in the holiday spirit. Although, I did see a film this week called 'It's Christmas, Carol!' which I really really enjoyed so either one.
8. Favorite Christmas Song? I don't really have a favorite, I enjoy lots of the classics. I do enjoy Winter Wonderland though, that's a gooden.
9. Favorite holiday food? I have them occasionally through the year but I enjoy Snow Balls around Christmas time, just all the coconut, mmm!
10. What is your favorite Christmas decoration this year? It's not necessarily a decoration, but I bought a singing Christmas dog the other week, and he's adorable. My favorite I think, that and the tree of course.
11. What's at the top of your Christmas list? A good camera. I'm getting a brilliant quality camera as I'm doing a photography course and means I'll have better images for my blog, so excited.
12. What are your plans for the holidays this year?   I'm seeing close family members that live quite far away, so it'll be nice to be all reunited for Christmas day.

Blogmas Day 16 | Winter Comforts Tag

1. Do you change your makeup routine for the winter? Um, in a way yes. I use alot more moisturizers to keep my skin hydrated so I'll have to add to my routine but not dramatically.
2. Uggs: In or Out? Out, I don't really wear Uggs that often but if I do then definitely out. 
3. Favorite winter cheek, lip and eye product? I don't really have a favorite cheek product, any darker shades of red. I really like the Colour Boost Lip Crayon in Red Sunrise, and my favorite eye product would be the NAKED pallet, the darker shades.
4. Starbucks fall or winter drinks? Winter drinks definitely, they're so delicious!
5. Favorite winter scented candle? Probably Fireside treats or the Snowflake Cookie by Yankee Candles.   I tag anyone and everyone! Leave the URL in a comment, I'd love to read it.

 

Blogmas Day 11 | Christmas Tag

Hello Lovelies! So I wanted to get in the Christmas spirit even more, whats a better way of doing that then doing a Christmas Tag? I found this a really nice tag and very exciting to answer, I'm starting to feel very festive now.
1. Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic? I really like the real ones, but I have to say synthetic just because it costs alot less. Also it takes years for the real trees to grow to just die within a few weeks, they also shred like no tomorrow but I do love the look and smell of them, just not for me personally.
2. You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick? Oh, that's cruel. I love a hot chocolate in December time, so depending if I'm in Starbucks I'd go for the Peppermint Hot Chocolate, mmm!
3. What's your favorite colour scheme for decorating the tree? See, I don't limit myself to just one Christmas tree, I have several in the bedrooms etc, but my main tree I like to use all the Christmas colours like Gold, Green and Red. 
4. Giving or receiving? It's so predictable to say this, but I generally love giving because I love to see people opening the presents, I've put alot of effort into getting the perfect presents I want to see them enjoy it. Although receiving is just as exciting, giving is the main thing about Christmas and seeing people happy.
5. To mince pie or not to? To, I like mince pies much more than Christmas pudding. Actually I do really hate Christmas pudding, uggh. But a mince pie with some clotted cream, yum.
6. What's your traditional Christmas lunch? I think Christmas dinner is what Christmas is all about, sitting with your family and loved ones and of course, the food. I normally have pork rather than turkey because we're more of a pork kind of people, pigs in blankets, crackling, lots of veg, Yorkshire puddings and potatoes. And of course, crackers and jokes to enjoy whilst we tuck into the feast.
7. Christmas day fashion I like to dress up for Christmas, normally a nice flowly skirt and a pretty top. Nothing too glam but nice and posh enough for Christmas but of course, still keeping the festive look on. 
8. What's your favorite Christmas song? I don't think I have one specific, I enjoy lots. I particularly enjoy Winter Wonderland more this year, whether that's because I bought a toy dog that sings it the other day but I do enjoy that one.
9. What's your favorite Christmas film? Oh, that's a hard one. There's so many, I adore the film Elf. It's just halarious and gets you into the Christmas spirit right away, but I also like this other film that I watched the other day called 'It's Christmas, Carol!' which is a beautiful film with a beautiful message and very romantic, brilliant film.
10. Open presents before or after lunch? When I wake up I usually go downstairs with the family and open our stockings and we normally travel to my Nan's house where we have over more close family members and open our main presents after Lunch.

Sweater Weather | Tag

Hello Lovelies!  So I saw this tag on Lauren's blog, I just had to do it! I have to say, Autumn is probably my favorite season. I love the fashion style & the colours, the layering up in hats and gloves etc, the candle smells. So when I saw this tag on Lauren's blog, I just had to do it! 
1. Favorite candle scent?

I have so many scents that I just adore. I think my favorite candles are from Yankee Candles, they're all delicious smells! I think for Autumn/Winter, the best scent would be the 'Fireside Treats' candle, smells like roasted marshmallows. Amazing for the Winter. 

2. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate?

I must admit, I am not a fan of coffee, hardly ever drink it unless it's iced coffee. On the other hand, tea and hot chocolate are to die for, specially in the Winter. I really can't choice one, but I think both are essential for Winter.

3. What's the best fall memory you have?

I think that would be the days I spent with my childhood friend, the best memory was probably when we took a trip to the woods and collected leaves etc, and made a autumn collage.

4. Which makeup trend do you prefer: dark lips or winged eyeliner?

Winged eyeliner. Although I'm not good at getting the wings perfect, in fact i'm almost useless. If I ever get one perfect, I can never do the other one even similar, but I'd still love to wear it. 

6. Favorite Christmas food?

This is hard, sometimes my family have sausages rapped in bacon, so I think I'll have to say them.

7. Hats or Scarves?

I have to say hats, as I love the cute bobble hats that has a little bobble at the top of it. For me, a hat completes a outfit. Although I'd suggest wearing both for Winter, it can get very chilly.

8. Most worn jumper?

I have several frequently worn jumpers at the moment, I think my most warn one would be my baby blue wool jumper from Topshop. I absolutely love it, it keeps me very toasty and warm. I also like to wear a peter pan collar on underneath the jumper, revealing the collar. 

9. Favorite fall nail polish?

I think for Winter time, my favorite would be a nice pastel blue. Although that colour was very popular during the summer, I love to wear it in the winter.

10. Football games or jumping in leaf piles?

When I'm walking somewhere with friends, I think the temptation of running through the leaves gets the better off me, 'm a kid at heart really. So yes, jumping in leaves would be the best.

11. Skinny jeans or leggings?

Skinny jeans. Personally, I proffer to wear jeans out and wear leggings for more of lounging around at home.

12. Combat boots or Uggs?

I think uggs are amazing for the winter, keep your feet nice and cosy. However, I have to say Combat boots would steal me, I just love the style of them.

13. What's your #1 favorite thing about fall?

Oh, this is way to hard to choice. I think what I look forward to the most would be the layering up in fluffy, warm jumpers and hats and scarfs. 

 

Get To Know Me | Tag

**Not my image** 1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?  My hair is very straight, in fact I don't think straighteners would even make a difference to it.
2. Do you dye your hair yourself or at a salon? I do it myself as I don't tend to dye it different colours much or anything difficult, so its much cheaper to do it myself.
3. Do you wear the same hair style everyday, or do you change it? I always try to change it up, gets a bit boring else.  4. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon? Is it bad that I've never actually had it done in a salon,ever? No, I like to do it myself.
5. How often do you change your nail polish? With being at school and their strict rules, I don't wear nail polish everyday, however I occasionally do on weekends and for evenings out/events. I try have different colours as much as I can.
6. Do you polish your toes in the winter, or just the summer? I never normally paint my nails that often, but if I do it'll be dark autumn shades.
7. How long does it take to for you to put on your makeup? Depending on where I'm going really. If it's just a normal day it usually takes me around 30 minutes, for an evening out maybe up to a hour.
8. What do you do first? Face or eyes? I normally do my face makeup first like foundation then my eyes, then normally add concealer and powder afterwards as it's easier to clear up any eye makeup mistakes before everything else is added. 
9. Do you collect make up or just buy what you need when you need it?  Both really. I am always collecting new products to try out, however I normally buy my usual favorites when I need them.
10. How often do you wear false eye lashes? Hardly ever, I have naturally really long eye lashes so all it takes is some good mascara and they're just as good as false ones.
11. Do you do a full face of makeup everyday? I normally wear my foundations and concealers and also a bit of eye liner at the most for most days.
12. Do you wear makeup when your home alone or with family? Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I like to give my skin a chance to breathe but I'm normally trying out different products so usually I do.
13. Will you leave the house without makeup? No, I always have to be wearing some. Whether it's a full face of it or just some concealer, I never leave without any.
14. How many high end products do you have? I haven't actually counted, but I own a fair few. I don't usually use just the high end products, I like to use drug store products as well as. 
15. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you're getting dressed? Normally, I decide whilst I get ready. However for evenings out or events, I normally plan what I'm wearing the night or a few nights before.
16. How often do you change your handbag? As weird as it may sound coming from a women, but very rarely actually. I can be very fussy when it comes to bags so when I find a good one I stick with it for as long as I can.
17. What time do you wake up and go to sleep? I wake up most days at 7am even on weekends as I got work, but I tend to go to bed whenever I'm tired really, normally around 10 to 11pm. 
18. Left handed or right handed? I'm right handed.
20. Do you speak any foreign languages? Not fluently, no. I'm currently taking french as a GCSE, but I'm really bad at it so I don't really no. 
21. How many pets do you have? I currently moved into a rented home so many of my pets weren't allowed to come with me, however they live at a relatives which isn't to far away. I have too many guinea pigs to count, over twenty. Two rabbits, I also have two dogs & some fish. Like a zoo, I know!
22. How often are you on blogger? I go on blogger every day, either blogging myself or reading other blogs.
23. Do you read comments posted on blogs? I always read comments on my blog, just not so much other blogs.
24. Do you have a list of products to try as you see other posts?  Yes, more of a mental note than a physical note but yeah I like to try as many things as I can.
25. How did you come up with your blog name? I don't know really, just sort of played around with a few things and ended up with what I've got. 
26. What kind of camera do you use for your photographs? Believe it or not, my really good camera broke right before I started blogging so I was unable to use it. I currently use either my digital one or my iPhone which aren't the best of quality's I know. However, for Christmas I'm having my camera replaced with a decent one, so fingers crossed!
27. How often do you clean your house? I have to keep my house clean at all times as it's a rented house and I could have surprise inspection, so it's just a matter of cleaning up as you go really.
28. What's your favorite colour? I don't really have specific one, but I do like a peachy purple & baby teal colours.
29. Do you swear? I try not to but with the occasional toe bash, I don't get much choice!
30. What are you doing for the rest of the day?  Just having a chilled back evening really, watch some TV.

Beauty Blogger Tag

Hi Lovelies! I've been caught up in a fair amount of course work at the moment so unfortunately haven't had the time to put together a post, I hope you all don't mind but I will be organizing next week much better so I will have plenty more time for blogging! Lets get started,
1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
My hair is naturally very straight, but I normally wear it wavy.
  2. What is your natural hair colour?
Chocolate brown.

3. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
I dye it myself, It's so much cheaper.

4. How often do you wash your hair?
2 or 3 times a week.

5. Do you wear the same style every day or change it?
I like to change it, but I don't usually have much time in the mornings so nothing marvelous.

7. How often do you change your nail polish?
In the summer I normally have different colors all the time, but at school unfortunately not allowed any:(  Sucks, right?
  8. Do you polish your toes in the winter, or just in the summer?

 I don't usually have nail polish on my toes, I normally wear closed in shoes so I find it a bit pointless to paint them.

9. How long does it take you to put your make up on?
Depends on how long I've got, If its my usually every day it usually takes me 10 to 20 minutes but if I have alot longer I'll probably take 30 to 40 minutes, knowing me I get distracted easily!
10. What do you do first? Face or eyes?
I always do my face first, start of applying creams etc then once all my foundations are on I apply eye makeup.

11. Do you "collect" makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?
A bit of both, I like to try new things so I'm always collecting. But I always buy what I need first.

12. How often do you wear false eyelashes?
Rarely, only if it's a special occasion.  
13. Do you do a full face of make up everyday?

 I'd like to think not, I only wear basic foundations and some eye liner for most days.

14. Do you wear makeup when you are home alone (or with family)?
Not really, I like to let my skin breathe when I'm home but normally I'll wear some sort of concealer or something.

15. Will you leave the house without makeup?
I have, but I'd feel much happier with it on.

16. How many high end products do you own?
Not many, is that bad?

17. How often do you wash your makeup brushes?
I normally give them a good ol' scrub every few days or so.

18. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you ate getting dressed?
Depends, If it is for a special event I'll probably have it all out ready, but just a normal day I'll just pick up whatever looks good on that day.

19. How often do you change your handbag?
Not frequently, I'm a bit picky with bags! If I find a nice comfortable one, I'll probably stick with it for several months!  

20. What time do you get up & go to sleep?
I don't really have a time, as soon as I'm tired I suppose! As long as it isn't too late. But in the mornings it's usually 7 o'clock, but on weekends it's as long as possible.

21. How often & when do you work out?

I don't often get the time, specially with my GCSE's going on but I normally walk around 30 to 40 dogs every Sunday (it's my job).

22. Left handed or right handed?

I am a right handeder (is that even a word?)

23. How tall are you?I really am not sure, I don't measure. Is that a bad thing?
  24. Do you speak a foreign language?
Not really, I took french in my early high school years.

25. How many pets do you have?
Lots & Lots. More than enough Guinea Pigs(roughly 20), 2 rabbits, 2 dogs & a few tanks of fish.

26. How often are you on Blogger?
I check it every day & I do try to post that frequently too.
27. Do you read the comments posted on blogs?
I read every single comment on my blog & reply! I read lots of comments on other blogs, yes.

28. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?
Yes, I have a very long list of products I want to try out. Slowly working down the list. 

29. How did you come up with your blog name?
I don't really know, it wasn't inspired by anything! I think it just came to me.

30. What kind of camera do you use for your photographs?

I tend to use different ones, I use my Iphone camera alot and my digital quiet frequently. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get my hands on a really good camera as of yet but I am getting a brilliant one this December, can't wait!

  31. How often do you clean your house?
 My Mum is the main cleaner of my house, but I try keep my room tidy for as long as I can then just give it a good ol' tidy up when I cant stand the mess for much longer.

32. What is your favorite color?
I can never give a straight answer for this because I like so many colors! I'd say at the moment I'm very fond of peachy colors!

33. What is your favorite beauty/fashion magazine?
GLAM, ELLIE. I don't really have a favorite. 
35. What are you doing with the rest of your day?  Well hopefully I'll be relaxing as Saturday is my only day to do so, and giving my very hairy Guinea Pig a good ol' bath as he is in need of some deep cleansing!
