Drugstore Beauty Haul

I was passing a few drug stores today, and I couldn't help but pop in! Being a girl, whilst shopping things tend to scream your name and you can't help but scoop them up. So this is what accidentally fell into my possessions today!

So this product was the first to 'slip' into my basket today! I've heard alot of reviews about this product, and seen alot of people raving about this so I thought why not try it yourself? It's called 'Matt & Messy Shine Free Salt Spray' by L'Oreal Paris. I heard it works best when the hair is damp, and basically what it does is it adds extra lift and definition to your hair also with the beachy hair look. I haven't yet used this product on damp hair, but I certainly have on dry hair. Personally, It just gives your hair a lose, messy look and if this is the look you want to achieve then I definitely recommend it and it is definitely worth the money! I believe I scooped this up for £2. It is a small bottle, but a little bit goes a long way so definitely give it a go!

My next product I bought was this Nail Drying Spray. I'm not the type to sit perfectly still whilst my nails dry, and I almost always smudge or chip my nail varnish as they dry so when I saw this I thought why not give it a go?
After trying it out, I didn't really believe it done its purpose. You apply your nail varnish as usual and then spray this over the top and it supposedly drys them quicker. When i tried it, it didn't dry my nails quickly or quick at all. I do however think it gave my nails another layer which protects them from chipping. Although, If you buy clear covering nail varnish it does exscatly the same as this even better really. I was a bit disappointed with this, but least I gave it a go!

So today when I went to pick up my regular mascara 'COLLECTION water proof Mascara' it devastated me that they did not have the product in. I then came across this mascara. The brush is much much bigger and when I got home I applied this and my lashes were x10 as bigger then before! I don't wear fake lashes, I use my real ones and this definitely makes your lashes look filled and very lengthy and it also splits apart your lashes so clumping is avoided. So far I've found no issues with this product, and I hugely recommend it to anyone that likes big full lashes! Definitely serves its purpose!

In my shopping spree I came across a very large stand of perfume. I'm not much of a big perfume buyer, usually I buy 1 bottle and it lasts me a long time and I tend to use body spray more. However, I came across this particular bottle, and the smell was lush. I couldn't get enough of it, so I decided to let it fall into my possessions. The bottle is fairly big and will last a long time unless your like me, spraying it every 5 seconds due to the addiction of the smell;)

I'm always finding things to help keep my hair shiny & healthy! I came across these bottle of 30 pills, It is called 'Skin, Hair & Nail' It provides nutritional support for the Skin, Hair and Nails. I'm currently growing my hair and I'm always finding ways to keep it healthy for quicker hair growth and general hair health. Over the next 30 days I'm going to be taking these pills, so stay tuned because I will write a separate blog post on the results!

I tend to wear my hair in buns alot at the moment, and I find bows and ribbons a really sweet accessory when wearing a bun. I saw this bow, and couldn't help add it to my basket. It's a lovely peachy color which I love.

    My Everyday Makeup Routine

So I start of with 'Shine Control Cleansing Wipes' by T ZoneI start of by wiping away any remaining makeup/dirt on my face and around my eyes etc (I do the same before I go to bed) and refresh my face.

I use 'STOP that SPOT' by Good Things to help with my spots! I have been using this spot cream for a few weeks now, and personally it does helps clear spots.
Spot creams sort of dry out your skin, so it is important to moisturizer properly and correctly.

I then apply my 'Daily Moisturizer' by Garnier! This helps to keep your skin healthy looking, uncracked & locks in the moisture to your skin. It keeps my skin from going dry and flaky, and keeps my skin looking healthy.

I apply 'Be Clear 4 Foundation' by 2true as my main foundation. I'm not a big foundation wearer, but this product hides pores/blemishes etc really well.
I also wear on top of this (if needed) 'Dream Matte Mousse' by Maybelline New York, I highly recommend this product as it doesn't make your face looked clogged and it hides pores/blemishes/under eyes very well.

I then apply my concealer, I use 'Cover 'n Conceal' by 2true! I proffer using a stick then liquid, to me it covers more spots, blemishes and dark circles. As a sufferer of spots I want to cover my spots/pores as much as possible, I highly recommend to anyone that is wanting to cover up there spots to use concealer. Personally, I recommend stick concealer as it does the job perfectly.

I apply BROWN pencil eyeliner by 2true to my lower lid (waterline) and I also apply it to my upper lid as a faint line which I then go over with my liquid eyeliner by 2true.

For my lashes I use COLLECTION waterproof mascara.      I really do recommend this product, I have used it for many months and it really does do the job for me. It adds length, volume and separates lashes to avoid clogs on your lashes.

I'm not a big lippy person, but if I do wear some I like to stick to peachy/red shades. I believe I bought the stick on the left from Super Drug & the stick on the right I scoped up from Primark!

Tip: Don't use paper towels, tissues or toilet paper to remove your makeup, as they can leave wood particles behind and clog your pores.
